Every last Sunday of the month, the vocation commission is holding an online vocation gathering for the contacts. This is a good venue for the contacts to know more about our congregation. We started last August 29, 2021, with the topic “Vocation in General.” The next session is September 26, 2020, with the topic, Overview of the Augustinians of the Assumption,” given by Br. Albert Kabosu, AA. The third session was given by Fr. Ngoa Ya Tshihemba, AA, on the topic, “Brief History of the Augustinians of the Assumption,” last October 31, 2021. The last session for this year was given by Fr. Bernard Holzer, AA on the topic, “Life of Emmanuel D’Alzon,” last November 28, 2021. Ten (10) to fifteen (15) participants from the countries of India, Indonesia, and the Philippines are joining the sessions online. Also, one (1) Vietnamese who resides here in the Philippines is also joining the online gathering. This is a good environment to reach out the contacts especially for those who are far without them coming here. Some of them who are near started to visit already the community. Though it is still better to have a face-to-face gathering, this is a good start to be together during the time of the pandemic. Please include our contacts in your prayers.
