As a follow-up program in helping in the rehabilitation of the Sitio Ibayo, Kaloob Foundation, Philippines, through its generous sponsors and mission partners the Phanxico Group (Association of Vietnamese in the United State), distribute housing materials to the affected residence last March 26, 2021. Sitio Ibayo is part of Dulong Bayan 1, San Mateo in Rizal Province, and was greatly damaged by the wrath of Typhoon Ulysses (Vamco, its international name). Twenty-six (26) family beneficiaries received the said housing materials. Aside from the Assumptionist brothers, volunteers from the Dominican Sister of St. Rose of Lima, and Lay Volunteers participated in the activity. After the distribution, volunteers interviewed the beneficiaries and leaders of the place for other possible assistance Kaloob can give. On the first visit to this place, food relief assistance was distributed to the people as a way of helping them recover from the trauma of the typhoon. This is our way of building the Kingdom of God in answering the basic need of the people. We are praying and hoping that many generous people will extend their help to these people as they rebuild their lives.
