On the feast of St. Faustina Kowalska last October 5, 2022, the Divine Mercy Parish celebrated for the first time the feast of its patroness as a newly-erected parish. Novena masses were celebrated with various priests and religious from the Digos diocese. Bishop Guillermo Afable, DD of Digos celebrated the fiesta mass in the morning of October 5 while the parish priest, Fr. Jay Lituañas, celebrated the regular 3:00 pm Mass. Devotees from different areas of the diocese and even from the Davao Region came to celebrate this feast, the first as a parish. The faithful from the 25 chapels of the parish came in droves and brought food to be shared with all who gathered for the fiesta.

With the erection of the new Divine Mercy Parish in Digos diocese last April 24, 2022, the parish officers and Assumptionists assigned there lost no time to realize the dream to have a new parish office, new stockroom, and new parish common kitchen. The construction of the new stockroom and kitchen finished last August with the great help of a very generous benefactor. The building also houses 2 rooms for the sacristan and other guests. Digos Bishop Guillermo Afable blessed this structure on the feast of St. Faustina Kowalska.

Upon the completion of this so-called 3-in-1 building, the construction of the new parish office began last September. This building consists of the parish office, that of the priests, a room for the priests, and a place for meetings/conferences. Adjacent to the new parish office are the common toilets for the faithful. The construction of the new parish office and the adjacent common toilets was realized because of the generosity of another benefactor, who donated the parish church as well as the property where it stands.
