The call to religious life is a continuous conversation of both mind, heart, and spirit to Christ. On this Feast of Saint Augustine, there are three special occasions to celebrate: the Perpetual profession of vows of Br. Mark Vincent Madronero, AA; the Renewal of Vows of 9 other religious brothers  (Adan Louie, Ariel, Ethiel, Christian, Kranthi, Albert, Roderic, Melquisedec, and Joseph), and the Silver anniversary as an Assumptionist of Fr. Ngoa Ya Tshihemba. The celebration was held in the hall at Pavel House in Quezon City and the Holy Mass (with online streaming) was presided by Father Ngoa who also accepted the vows on behalf of Fr. Jay Hector Lituanas, AA, while Fr. Bernard Holzer, AA gave the homily. Fr. Bernard focused his homily on the Assumptionist being a man of his time who is rooted in his love for Christ. His mission is to build the Kingdom of God in his capacity by caring for the poor. To be a good religious after the likeness of Jesus. After the Holy Mass, a sumptuous dinner followed. Joining us also are the family and friends of Br. Mark Vincent and, some Chinese priests, Saint Charles Borromeo’s sisters, Carmelites sisters, and the Maryknoll Sisters.
